Here at D-Place we take pride in offering the best hunting experience possible. That means we pay attention to details. As avid hunters ourselves, we know what makes the hunt fun and successful. From our state of the art deer processing facilities to the the one and only "Critter Hearse" game retreival vehicle of it's kind in the country mathced with skillful game management practices, we cover every base to give you the best shot at bagging your prize bear or buck. “Critter Hearse™”
D-Place is home to the world famous Critter Hearse™. This enormous machine is equipped with winches and plenty of space to retrieve and haul that monster kills. The Critter Hearse™ can go where other machines only dream to explore. Whether it’s a 10 pt. Whitetail or a 700lb. Black Bear, Critter Hearse™ is able to forge deep in the woods to bring out your kill with ease, because here at D-Place we believe “Every critter deserves a first class ride to the dinner table.” (Click on the image to see a larger picture of the Critter Hearse™!)

“Critter Morgue™”
Our top quality skinning racks, scales and coolers make bringing your kill to the table quick and easy. The Critter Morgue has all the latest conveniences of hot/cold water, ice machines, scales, tables and hanging racks. We’ve even thought of a hanging porch swing so you can kick back and relax between hunts!

 

The Lodge
Your hunting package includes a comfortable stay at our Lodge located in Engelhard, NC. At the lodge you will enjoy all the comforts of home, southern cooking at it’s finest, anything from local fresh seafood to venison stew. Please notify the lodge in advance of any allergies, so we can accommodate your personal needs.
